Ld Arch

This is Ld Arch. We are based in Kondotti, Malappuram. You can find us right opposite the Ceramic Studio. It’s a pretty easy landmark if you’re driving through the area. We do architectural work here, mostly focused on local houses and small commercial spots. The office isn't very large, but it works for us. We spend most of our time drawing and looking at site plans. There are a couple of us working here. We grew up in this area, so we know what kind of buildings work for the climate around Malappuram. It gets hot and then it rains a lot, so you have to plan for that. People stop by all the time to ask questions about their own plots or just to see what we are working on. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. Sometimes the traffic outside gets noisy, but Kondotti is always like that. We like being near the Ceramic Studio because people know the spot. We take on projects one at a time so we can actually focus. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just draw the plans and help people figure out how to build their space. It's practical work. We’ve been here for a bit now and have seen the neighborhood change. We just keep doing our thing.
