Elga Carbons

We are over here in Malappuram at Inkel Greens, right in the Ig Centre area. It’s a busy spot in Oorakam Melmuri and honestly, the days go by pretty fast when you’re dealing with carbon materials. We started out just wanting to run a decent local shop and things grew from there. Most of the guys here are from around Karathode, so we know the people we work with. The warehouse gets a bit messy sometimes, but that is just how it goes with this kind of work. We aren't trying to be some giant company that doesn't know its neighbors. If you come by the office at number 38, you’ll usually find someone drinking tea and going over the inventory lists. It isn't anything fancy. We just focus on getting the carbon orders right and making sure they get loaded onto the trucks without too much trouble. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, especially when the rain hits this part of Kerala hard, but we manage. We’ve been at this for a while now and we've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily grind and trying to be honest about the stuff we sell. Most people find us through word of mouth, which is fine by us. It keeps things simple and we don’t have to deal with too much noise. That’s pretty much us. We like what we do and we plan to stay here for a long time. It suits us.
