Ck Hollow Bricks

Ck Hollow Bricks is located in Pattikkad, right in the Chungham area. Malappuram can get quite hot in the afternoons, so working with bricks is sweaty work most days. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time now. It is not a big factory, just a place where we make the hollow blocks. The yard gets very dusty when the wind picks up. We try to keep the stacks neat but sometimes they lean a bit or get knocked over. It is just me and a few local guys working here. We know most of the people who come by to pick up loads for their new houses. Usually, they have a small truck or a tractor. We just load them up and have a tea while we talk. Nothing fancy happens here. The address is easy to find if you know the Chungham junction. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the bricks piled up high for people to see. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the morning fixing them instead of making blocks. That is just how it is with old equipment. We are not trying to be the biggest company around, just want to keep the yard running. If the rain comes, we have to cover everything up fast. It keeps us busy. Most of our days are spent out in the open air. It is honest work and it pays the bills.
