We’ve been here at SCF 1013 for a while now. Getting up to the 2nd floor every morning is basically our workout since there isn't an elevator. It’s a busy spot, especially during the day when everyone else in the building is moving around. Most of the time, we’re just tucked away in the office or the lab area trying to get things sorted. Biomax Biotechnics might sound fancy to some people, but for us, it’s just where we show up and do the work. The light is okay in the afternoons, but it gets a bit noisy from the street below if we leave the windows open too wide. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for the stairs, so we have to go down and wave them in. It's not a huge place, just enough room for the desks and the equipment we need. People know us around here mostly because we’ve stayed in this same spot for so long. We aren't doing anything flashy. Just handling the day-to-day tasks that come with the biotech side of things. It gets pretty quiet after six when the other shops downstairs close up. We usually keep some snacks in the drawer because lunch breaks tend to happen late. It’s a decent place to work, even if the stairs get tiring by Friday. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. That’s pretty much how it goes for us here in the SCF.
