Zain & Company

Zain & Company is tucked away in Gokul Market, right on KS Rao Road in the Hampankatta area. We've been in this spot for a long time, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. It’s a busy corner of the city, and the noise from the street is something you just get used to after a while. Our shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. We handle a bit of everything here, mostly trade stuff and general supplies that people in Hampankatta look for. The stairs up to the market can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We spend a lot of our day just organizing stock and talking to the people who drop by. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find one of us behind the counter or moving boxes in the back. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone needs something and we have it, we sell it to them. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the front window when it's really pouring, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s just part of being in an older building like this one. We enjoy the lunch breaks when we can go out and get something from the street vendors nearby. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and our regulars.
