The French Connection

You can find The French Connection over at Fatima Retreat House on Valencia Main Road in Mangalore. Valencia is a nice part of the city, and the main road is always a good place to be. We are based right there in that retreat house area. It’s a bit different from a standard office building, which gives it a specific feel. Mangalore weather can be quite something, with the humidity and the heavy rains, but we are used to it by now. People come by for various reasons, often related to the language or the cultural bits we deal with here. We don't have a big front desk or a lobby full of brochures. It’s more of a functional space where we handle our daily business. Sometimes the house is very quiet, and other times there are people moving around for different events. We keep our own corner of it pretty tidy. Most of the folks who stop in are locals from Valencia or students interested in what we do. We don't spend time on fancy descriptions or trying to sound like a big company. We are just a small group of people working out of a well-known local landmark. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way. Usually, our days are filled with paperwork and the occasional visitor who wants to know more about our activities. It’s a calm way to spend the workday, right here on Valencia Main Road.
