Royal Health Clinic

Our clinic is located right on Balmatta Road. We are on the second floor of the Kumudavathi Building. It is an old building, but it has a lot of character and everyone in Balmatta knows where it is. We spend most of our time in these rooms helping the patients who come in for their regular check-ups. The hallway is a bit narrow, so we try to keep the chairs arranged so people can sit comfortably while they wait their turn. It is not a fancy hospital, just a local clinic where we know most of the people walking through the front door. Sometimes the traffic outside on Balmatta Road gets really loud, but you get used to it after working here for a week or two. We have a small staff, and we all pitch in with everything from filing papers to cleaning up at the end of the shift. We do not use those complicated booking systems that never seem to work; we just write things down and make sure we do not miss anyone. If the weather is nice, you can see clear across the street from the window in the main room. We have been here long enough that the place feels like a second home to us. Usually, there is a pot of tea going in the back room for when we finally get a break. We just try to stay busy and take care of whoever walks up those stairs. It is practical work.
