Radhika Enterprises

Radhika Enterprises is tucked away in Cosmos Lane in the village of Kadri. We are out here in Dakshin Kannada and things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. The air is different here and the people are mostly neighbors or people from the next village over. We don't have a big neon sign out front, just the name and the door. Sometimes the cows walk right past the entrance and it’s quiet until a delivery van pulls into the lane. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking boxes but we try to keep it simple. My family lives nearby so we are always around if someone needs something urgently. We don't follow a strict corporate clock, we just stay until the work is done for the day. It gets hot in the afternoons so we keep the fans going and usually have the radio playing some local station. People find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about us at the market. It’s not a complicated setup. Just a room full of supplies and a couple of us trying to make a living. We keep our records in big ledgers and try not to lose our pens. That’s how we do things in Kadri. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy enough to keep the lights on and the family fed.
