Prathibha Eye Hospital

Our eye hospital is situated on Kadri Road, right opposite the Syndicate Bank in Kadri. It’s a well-known spot in the neighborhood. We deal with everything related to eyes, from basic vision tests to more complicated things. The building isn't brand new, but we keep it in good shape. Inside, it’s usually quite bright because we need a lot of light for the exams. We’ve got those big machines for checking eyesight in the different rooms. It can be a bit of a process moving from one room to another for different tests. People are often sitting around with their eyes dilated, waiting for the drops to work. It’s a quiet kind of place for the most part, though the reception area can get a bit hectic when a lot of people arrive at once. We don't have a huge team, just the doctors and a few of us managing the front desk and the testing equipment. We’ve been seeing patients here for many years, and we’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own kids in. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the community like that. The parking outside on Kadri Road can be a bit tricky, so most people try to find a spot on the side streets. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out. It’s a simple hospital, but we do what we’re supposed to do for the folks who come in. We try to keep the coffee machine filled for visitors. It helps pass the time.
