Pioneer Surgical & Co.

We’ve been running Pioneer Surgical & Co. from Somayaji House on Bunts Hostel Road for a while now. It’s just a regular spot where we handle medical supplies. People around here know the building, it’s easy to find. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the shelves stocked with what doctors and clinics need day to day. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with boxes, but that is how it goes when you’re busy. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing our customers by name. If you walk down Bunts Hostel Road, you’ll see our sign. It is a practical setup. We spend most of our time checking orders and making sure things get where they need to go. There is always something to do, whether it’s answering the phone or sorting through new stock that just arrived this morning. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us here, working through the list of things to get done. The location works well for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we are still in the same place. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. Dealing with surgical equipment means you have to be careful with the details, so that’s what we focus on. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is important work for the local community and the nearby hospitals. Most days are just about getting the boxes out of the door.
