Mrs.Saraswati

Life here in the K.I.O.C.L Township in Mangalore moves at a very steady and predictable pace. I am over at B-124, which is where Baby Chitra and I handle the daily business. Kavoor is a nice enough area, mostly quiet and away from the main rush of the city center. It is a simple setup we have here. We do not have a big front desk or a lobby. It is more of a home-based situation where we take care of whatever needs doing for Mrs. Saraswati. Being the daughter of U.Giddappa, there is a lot of local history and family ties here in the township. People know each other by name around here. The weather in Mangalore can be really humid, so the fans are always going in the office area to keep us moving. We do not have fancy brochures or a marketing team. If someone needs something, they usually just stop by or give us a call on the landline. It is honest work. Sometimes we sit out on the porch and discuss the day’s tasks while the neighbors walk by. The township has its own charm, with the old trees and the way the light hits the buildings in the late afternoon. We are not looking to expand into some huge company. We just want to do what we do well and stay part of the community here. It is a bit tucked away, so you have to know the blocks to find B-124.
