Mangala Hospital

Mangala Hospital sits up on Vajra Hills, right along Kadri Road. If you are coming from the main part of town, you’ll see us as you start heading up the hill. It’s a pretty functional building without a lot of unnecessary decorations. We spend most of our time inside the different rooms and corridors. The Kadri Road area is always humming with some kind of activity, whether it’s cars, buses, or people walking by. Being on the hill means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice during the hotter months. The hospital is just a normal part of the neighborhood here. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or promotional slogans hanging in the lobby. We just have the usual signs and desks you’d find in any medical building. Our staff is mostly busy with their daily rounds and keeping the place running smoothly. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. We’ve been at this Vajra Hills location for a good while, so we know all the quirks of the building, like which windows stick or where the light hits the floor in the afternoon. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s where we work and help the people who come through the door. We just take things one day at a time and focus on the practical side of things. It’s our local spot.
