You can find our office in the London Plaza Building, which is right on the main road in the Surathkal area of Mangalore. We are situated in Krishnapura, and the easiest way to spot us is to look for the big water tank right opposite our building. Home Design Civil Engineers and Contractors has been around for a good while now. We are mostly out on construction sites across Mangalore, but this is where we do all our planning and paperwork. The office is often filled with rolls of blueprints and muddy boots because we are always coming and going from sites. We handle the structural side of things, making sure buildings are solid and meet all the rules. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of rain in Mangalore, so that often slows down our work, but we just manage as best as we can. We are a small group of people, and we don't have a receptionist or any fancy decor. We just have our desks and our equipment. When people come to see us, we just talk to them plainly about what can be done with their land or their house. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our projects come from people seeing our signs at building sites. It is just honest, hard work every day. We like being based in Surathkal and being part of the local community here.
