Our office is on the second floor of the City Light building on Balmatta Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always some noise from the street coming up to us. We deal with minerals and the various logistics that come with that. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of where everything is supposed to be. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a table where we sit if we need to discuss something. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just need a place to stay on top of the business. Most of the people here have been doing this for a long time, so we know the routine by heart. Some days the paperwork feels like it's never ending, especially when shipments are moving across the country. We just take it one step at a time. It’s helpful being right here on Balmatta Road because it’s easy for people to drop by if they need to talk to us in person. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us at Hindustan Mineral trying to keep things running smoothly. We usually leave once the evening rush starts and the street gets a bit louder with traffic.
