H K A Bawa & Sons is tucked away in the Bunder area, specifically over at Bawa Chambers on Goods-Shed Road. It’s an old part of the city, and honestly, it feels like it. The P.O. Box 35 address has been ours for ages. If you come down to the bunder, you'll see the activity near the goods shed. It’s a bit of a chaotic spot with all the movement, but that’s just how this neighborhood is. The building itself, Bawa Chambers, has its own history. We’ve got our offices set up there, and it’s where all the day-to-day coordination happens. We aren't really into the modern, polished office look; we prefer things as they are. There are files everywhere and the phone rings pretty often. Dealing with stuff at the docks and the sheds means things are always moving. We have a small team here, and most of us have been with the family for years. You’ll usually find someone at the desk dealing with the paperwork or talking to the guys outside. It’s a busy environment, especially when shipments are coming in or going out. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, and the noise from the shed is constant, but it’s our home base. We don't have any big speeches about what we do, we just handle the business that comes through Bunder every day and keep the records straight. It is just a regular workplace where people show up and do their jobs.
