GURUCHARAN INDUSTRIES

We are located at Plot No. QG-1, 2, and 3 in the Bykampady Industrial Estate. Gurucharan Industries has been here in this part of Mangalore for quite a long time now. Working in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and the constant sound of metal and machinery. Our setup covers three plots, so we have a fair amount of room for the different stages of our work. The weather here can be a bit of a challenge, especially when the monsoon rains start hitting the metal roofs, making it hard to hear anything else. We do a lot of manufacturing and heavy work, so it's the kind of place where your hands are rarely clean. We have a small office area tucked away where we handle all the billing and the paperwork that comes with running an industrial unit. Most of the guys working here are from the local area, and we have a pretty steady routine going. We start early to get the most out of the daylight and usually wrap things up by late afternoon. It's a straightforward place with no frills. We focus on the machines and the orders we have to get out. There is always a lot of activity at the gate with materials coming and going. We’ve been a part of the Bykampady community for years, just doing our daily tasks and keeping the workshop running as it should.
