Colaco Hospital

Colaco Hospital is located in the Kankanady Post area of Mangalore. We are specifically in Bendoorwell at 575002. If you are looking for us, we are near Teressa School and right opposite Ag Shetty Home. Being near a school means there is always a lot of noise and kids around in the mornings and afternoons. It’s a lively neighborhood. The hospital is an old fixture of this area. People have been walking through these doors for many years. We have the usual setup with a reception area and various wards. It’s not a shiny new facility, but it works for what we need. We spend our days dealing with a lot of different cases. Mangalore can get very rainy, so we often have people shaking off umbrellas in the lobby. The staff here are locals who know the Bendoorwell area well. We don't use any big corporate language. We just work. We handle the admissions, the bills, and the patient care as it comes. It can be stressful when it’s crowded, but we just take it one person at a time. The building has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. Opposite Ag Shetty Home, you’ll usually find some parking, but it’s tight. We are just a neighborhood hospital doing the usual daily tasks that a hospital does in Mangalore. We keep the lights on and the rooms ready.
