Chopras

Chopras is found on the first floor of the Catholic Center right on Balmatta Road. Being in Hampankatta means we are right in the middle of everything in Mangalore. It’s a busy area and the noise from the road usually filters up to our windows. We’ve been in this building for some time now. The Catholic Center is a well-known spot, so most people don't have trouble finding us. The office is pretty simple. We have some desks, some chairs, and a lot of papers. Mangalore weather can be quite rainy, so we often have umbrellas drying near the door. We don't have any flashy signs or high-tech lobbies. It’s just a place where we sit down and help people with their requirements. We start our mornings early and usually stay until the sun goes down. The staff here is local, so we know the area well. Sometimes we go out for coffee at the nearby stalls when things get a bit quiet. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don’t use a lot of fancy words or try to impress anyone with the decor. It’s about getting the job done. If you come by, you’ll probably see us busy on the phones or typing away. That’s just the daily routine at Chopras. We like the vibe of Hampankatta; it feels like the heart of the city. We’ve made this space our own over the years. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, but we know where everything is.
