Bombay Wire Netting Company

We run the Bombay Wire Netting Company out of Aniq Plaza on Azizuddin Road. Our specific spot is Plot No.- 9/8/439/9, which sounds a bit complicated on paper but it’s easy enough to find once you are in the Bunder area. This part of town is always moving, especially with all the trade stuff happening near the port. Our office is more of a workspace than anything else. We deal with a lot of wire mesh and netting, so things can get a bit cluttered and dusty. There are rolls of material sitting in the corners and samples on the tables. It’s a hands-on environment. We’ve been here for years, and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. Most of the people we work with are from around here. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us middle of a task or on the phone. We use old-school ledgers for some of our tracking because it just feels more reliable. The heat in the summer can be a bit much, but the breeze from the road helps. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get the orders out and stay busy. It’s a simple life and we like the Bunder neighborhood. Sometimes the smell of the salt air from the port reaches us here, which is nice.
