If you are looking for Bejai Clinic, we are on the ground floor of Grace Towers. This is on Kapikad Road in the Bejai area of Mangalore. Being on the ground floor is quite good because nobody has to worry about waiting for elevators or climbing a lot of stairs when they are feeling sick. Grace Towers is a well-known building in this part of town, so most of the local rickshaw drivers know exactly where to bring people. The clinic isn't very large, but it has enough room for the basic work we do every day. We have a few wooden benches for people to wait on and a simple desk where we keep all the paper records. Kapikad Road can get quite busy and noisy, especially during the school hours or when people are heading to the market. We hear the sounds of the city and the honking all day long. Inside, we try to keep things as organized as we can, though papers sometimes pile up on the desk when it gets busy in the evenings. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the walls have that lived-in look that comes with years of use. We don't have a separate cleaning crew coming in at night; we usually just sweep the floors ourselves before we lock the doors for the night. It’s a basic, honest operation. People come in with various complaints, and we do what we can to help them out. There are no fancy brochures or digital displays here. It’s just a practical place for the community.
