Basthikar Hardwares is situated in the Pvc Complex at Kuloor Junction. If you are driving around Kulur and see Nishant Car, we are right opposite that. It’s a busy spot because of the junction, with trucks and cars passing through at all hours. Our shop is where we keep all the building and hardware supplies. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around the complex. We have stacks of pipes and bags of materials that we shuffle from one side to the other. The Pvc Complex is a good base for us. It’s easy for people to pull up and load their vehicles. We spend most of the morning checking what we have left and what needs to be ordered. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the energy of the junction. Sometimes it gets a bit muddy outside when it rains, but that’s just life in this part of town. We have a few regular workers who help us out with the heavy stuff. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their construction projects. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just stay here and help whoever walks through the door. It is simple, everyday business for us. We know the road well and we know the needs of the people who live and build around Kulur. It is just about keeping things moving.
