We’ve been here at Building No. 4 in Karangalpady for a while now. Most people find us on Cg Kamat Road without too much trouble. It's just a regular workshop where we do carving work. Some days it's really busy with chips of wood or stone everywhere, and other days it's a bit quieter. We didn't really plan on writing a big bio, but people ask what we do. Basically, we take orders and try to get them done. The shop is small and the fan makes a bit of noise, but it's where we spend most of our time. We keep the tools sharp. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought it would because that's just how the material behaves. You can't rush some things. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. It's a decent spot to work. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. Just the work area and some finished pieces sitting on the shelf near the window. If you walk past the Karangalpady area, you'll probably hear the hammers. It’s not a corporate office. It’s just us working. We try to keep things organized but usually, there is dust. That is part of the job. We've got different types of chisels and machines. We just stay focused on the piece in front of us. It’s what we know how to do.
