Architect Associates

Architect Associates is based in a small part of Mangalore, specifically in the 574142 pin code area of Karnataka. We have been working as a group here for a while now, mostly focusing on local buildings and residential projects. Mangalore has a lot of rain, so we spend a lot of our time talking about roofs and drainage when we design things. Our office is a quiet place where we can sit and think without too much interruption. We do not have any big corporate titles or a fancy hierarchy. We just work together on whatever projects are on the table at the time. Sometimes we disagree on how a staircase should look or where a window should go, but we usually figure it out over some tea. The office is located in a part of town that is not too crowded, which is nice for when we need to focus. We do not go in for big presentations or flashy 3D models unless it is really necessary. Mostly, we just use our experience to make sure a building will stand up and stay dry in the monsoon. It is a steady way of working and we have built a decent reputation around here just by being consistent. People know they can find us here during regular hours, though we sometimes leave early if the weather is particularly bad or if a site visit takes longer.
