Aj Hospital & Research Centre

Aj Hospital & Research Centre is located in Kuntikana. It’s a large facility where we do a mix of treating people and also doing some academic work. Having the research side of things means you see a lot of students and people carrying clipboards or thick books around the hallways. It’s a bit different from a regular hospital because there’s always someone learning something new. The building is big and it can be easy to get lost if you don't follow the signs on the walls. We have specialized labs where people look at samples under microscopes and write up reports. At the same time, we have the regular hospital wards where patients are staying. It makes for a busy environment. Kuntikana is a good spot for this kind of place because it’s accessible. The staff is a mix of experienced doctors and younger people just starting out. We don't really go for fancy decorations; the walls are mostly covered with charts or notices about meetings. The benches in the waiting areas are often full of families waiting for news. It’s a place where a lot of serious work happens every day. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It’s a hospital where we also try to figure out better ways to do things through the research part of the center. There is always someone working in the labs late at night.
