Our workshop is located in Kamath'S Industrial Estate, right in the Hoige Bazaar area. It’s a busy part of town, and finding a place to park can be a real struggle some mornings. We have been running things from this spot for quite some time now. The building is part of a larger complex, so we share the space with a few other businesses. You can hear the sounds of welding and grinding from the units next door throughout the day. We don't have a big office or a fancy waiting room for visitors. If you come to see us, you’ll likely end up standing on the shop floor while we talk. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and there’s always a stack of blueprints sitting on the old wooden table near the entrance. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. It gets humid here, especially in the afternoons, but we have a couple of large fans that help a bit. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but the industrial estate stays pretty much the same. We know most of the other shop owners around here. We usually close up around six and head home. It’s not a complicated life, just steady engineering work day in and day out. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to it. That's just the routine.
