A J Hospital-Pet/Ct

This facility is located up in Kuntikan. We focus on the PET/CT side of things here at A J Hospital. It’s a specialized part of the medical field, so the equipment is pretty big and needs a lot of space. The building is functional. We have a front desk where people check in and then a waiting area that’s usually quiet because these scans take some time. The technicians are always busy setting up the machines and making sure the images come out clear. It’s not the kind of place where people come for fun, obviously, but we try to make the process as straightforward as possible. We see patients coming in for all sorts of reasons. Kuntikan is a decent area to get to, and we have enough space for the ambulances and private cars. The rooms are kept clean and the lighting is a bit bright, like most medical centers. We don’t have much in the way of fancy art on the walls or anything like that. It’s about the machines and the results. Staff usually stays focused on the schedules because timing is everything with these types of scans. We work through the appointments one by one. It’s a steady pace most days. People usually come in with a lot on their minds, so we just try to get the technical part done right so they can move on to their next step. That’s the main thing we do around here.
