A-Grain (India)

Our place is called A-Grain (India) and we are based out of Ulthur House. It’s in the Kukkedi post area, which falls under Belthangady Taluk in the Dakshina Kannada region of Mangalore. Being out here means things are a bit slower than in the middle of the city. We like the pace though. It’s a family-run sort of feel even if we aren't all related by blood. We do a lot of our work right here from the house and the surrounding area. The address is a bit of a mouthful to tell people over the phone, but once you’ve been here once, it’s easy to find. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to polish up how we sound to the public. We just talk like regular people because that’s who we are. Some days are busier than others depending on the season. Mangalore is a big district and being in Belthangady gives us some breathing room. We keep the tools and equipment we need close by. There’s no big corporate headquarters, just this spot in Kukkedi. We’ve been working out of this location for a long time and we know the land well. If things break, we fix them ourselves. It’s a practical way to run things. We just try to keep everything moving along without making too much of a fuss. It is a simple life and we like doing the work this way.
