Zebra Spot

We are located in the Roocal Lodge Building on Parkale Road here in Manipal. It’s a busy area with a lot of students and people passing through Udupi. We’ve been here for a bit, just running this small spot for anyone who needs a bite to eat. The place isn't very large, but we make do. Most days, you'll see a mix of young people and locals coming in. It gets a bit crowded during lunch hours, so things can get a little hectic behind the counter. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just us doing the work every day. We chose this spot because it's right in the middle of things. The lodge upstairs brings in some travelers too. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed, even if it’s noisy outside. Our menu stays the same for the most part because people seem to like what they know. We aren't trying to change the world, just providing a place to sit for a while. The Roocal Lodge Building is an old landmark, so it makes it easy for people to find us. Parkale Road is always full of scooters and students walking to classes. We see a lot of the same faces every semester. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the end of the day. It keeps things from going to waste. We do all the washing up and prep work ourselves. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We’re just a small part of the Manipal community.
