Our business, Wilworth Earthmovers Pvt Ltd, is located on the 1st Floor of the Kedar building. We are in the Manjunath Colony area of Kadri, which is a well-known part of Mangalore. Dealing with earthmovers means we are often thinking about heavy machinery and construction, but our daily home base is this office. Mangalore can get incredibly humid, so our office is where we retreat to handle all the paperwork and coordination that comes with this industry. It is a straightforward setup. We have some photos of equipment on the walls and plenty of ledgers and files stacked up on the shelves. Being on the first floor is convenient because we can see what’s happening on the street but we are slightly removed from the dust. The colony is a good place for a business like ours. We have some neighbors who have been here as long as we have. We aren't the type of people to use fancy words or have a complicated hierarchy. If something needs to be done, someone just does it. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating things, and sometimes the office gets a bit loud with all the talking. We like it here in Kadri. It feels like a solid place to run a company. We just keep our heads down, focus on the earthmoving business, and try to keep everything running smoothly without any unnecessary drama.
