Shree Skanda Constructions

We are based out of Amin House in Uppala, which is in the Kasargod district of Kerala. It is a nice spot near the coast where the air is salty and the trees are always green. We do construction, so we spend most of our time out in the sun or under those big blue plastic sheets when it pours. Kerala gets a lot of rain, as everyone knows, and that really dictates how we work. We have to plan everything around the monsoon. Our office at Amin House is where we keep the blueprints and the payroll books. It is a simple place with a couple of fans and a lot of half-empty water bottles. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of people. We are just a local crew that knows how to build things that last in this humid weather. We don't use a lot of big words or marketing tricks. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes the supply of sand or cement gets tight, or the truck gets stuck in the mud, but we find a way to fix it. People in Uppala know us, and we know them. That is the way we like to do things. No big fuss, just building houses and walls and whatever else needs doing in the neighborhood. It is a decent way to spend the day, and we are proud to be working in Kasargod.
