Raghu

I’m Raghu and I work out of Suunada Keri in K R Mohalla. If you know Mysore, you know this is an old part of town with a lot of history. My setup is pretty small. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy building. It’s just me and a couple of people helping out when things get busy. K R Mohalla is a tight-knit place, so everyone knows everyone else. I handle various tasks depending on what is needed at the time. Sometimes it's hard to explain exactly what the day-to-day looks like because it changes so much. One day I’m dealing with paperwork and the next I’m out meeting someone on the street. It’s a very local way of doing things. I’ve lived in Mysore for a long time and I don't see myself moving the business anywhere else. The streets here are narrow and things move a bit slower than in the big cities, which suits me just fine. I don't have a marketing plan or any big goals to expand across the state. I just want to do a decent job for the people who come to me. People usually find me by word of mouth. I stay busy enough. It’s just a basic operation here in Suunada Keri. I keep my records in order and try to stay organized, even when things get a bit chaotic during the festive seasons.
