M/S.Lanco Infratech Ltd. (Construction Division) Upcl Project U

This office is part of the Lanco construction division, specifically set up for the UPCL project work happening out here. We are based in Po-Kerwadi, which is a small area in the Karwar taluk. Being in the North Kannada district of Karnataka means we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and hills, but the work on the project keeps us pretty occupied most of the time. The roads out here can get a bit dusty with all the trucks moving back and forth, and when the monsoon hits, everything turns into a bit of a muddy mess. We spend most of our hours tracking the materials and the progress of the site work from this small setup. It is not like a city office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a practical place where engineers and workers come in to check their schedules or drop off reports. The weather is usually quite humid because we are not too far from the coast, so you just get used to that sticky feeling during the day. We have been out here for the duration of the project, and the routine is pretty much the same every morning. We start early before the sun gets too hot and try to get the main tasks sorted before the afternoon break. It is a quiet life in Kerwadi, mostly just focusing on the big job at hand and the daily machinery.
