You can find Uday Construction Company over in Kundapura, specifically at 267 in the IV Ward. We are tucked away on Church Road, right behind the Mangalore Tiles Factory, which is a big local landmark everyone knows. It’s a good spot because it’s easy to give directions to people coming from out of town. The office is just a regular building where we sit and go over building plans and handle the accounts for various construction jobs. Kundapura is a nice place to work, though it gets very rainy during the monsoon season, which makes construction a bit of a challenge. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors are all familiar faces. The street can get a bit congested with trucks going to the tile factory, but we don’t mind the noise much. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, stacks of blueprints, and samples of materials we use for different projects. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us on the phone or writing out a ledger. It’s a practical setup for a construction firm that focuses on getting things built rather than looking flashy. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or checking on how much sand and cement we have left for the week. It’s straightforward work and we like being part of the local community here in the IV Ward.
