We are located over in Devinagar, right off Aland Road in Gulbarga. It’s a busy area and it gets really hot during the summer months, so the fans are always going. Our office is a simple place where we manage all the building projects we have going on. Most of the time, it’s just a few of us sitting around desks covered in drawings and site notes. There’s always a bit of noise from the road outside, but we don’t mind it much after all these years. We usually start the morning with some coffee and a quick chat about what needs to be finished by the evening. Dealing with the heat is probably our biggest challenge most days. We don’t have any big signs or fancy decorations out front. It’s just a practical working space for our crew. People from the neighborhood often stop by to ask questions or just to say hello. We try to keep a handle on all the different sites, but sometimes things get a bit chaotic when deliveries don’t show up on time. We don't use any complicated systems, just some notebooks and the occasional computer work when it's needed. It’s a straightforward life here. We work hard, try to stay out of the sun when we can, and get the job done. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time, so we know how to work together. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do.
