Mak Plywood Industries

We are situated near Kanthi Church in the Mangaladevi area of Mangalore. This is where we do all our work with plywood. You can usually smell the wood and the glue when you get close to the gate. It’s an industrial sort of place. We have stacks of wood everywhere and machines running for most of the day. Mangalore is a humid place, so we have to be careful with how we store everything so it doesn't warp. The business has been around for a while. We aren't into big advertising campaigns or anything like that. People who need plywood for furniture or construction just know where to find us. We deal with carpenters, contractors, and sometimes just homeowners who want to fix something. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but that’s a factory for you. We don't have a fancy office. It’s just a small cabin where we handle the bills and talk to customers. Our staff has been with us for a long time. We just focus on making the sheets and getting them loaded onto the trucks. There’s no mystery to it. We show up early, work until the evening, and do it all again the next day. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years. That is just how it is. We provide the material and let people get on with their building.
