If you ever find yourself over by Hennur Cross in Kalyan Nagar, you’ve probably seen our cars parked around. We’ve been operating from this area for a while now. It’s a central spot for us because it’s easy to get onto the main roads from here. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to drivers about where they need to go next. It’s a lot of early mornings, sometimes starting before the sun is even up, just to make sure everyone gets to where they're going on time. The traffic around Hennur Cross can be a real headache, but we’ve learned the shortcuts over the years. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge or anything like that. It’s just a small place where we keep the keys and the logbooks. Sometimes the drivers sit around and have coffee while they wait for their next trip. We know the roads in Bangalore pretty well by now, from the narrow lanes to the new flyovers. It’s a bit of a grind, dealing with car maintenance and fuel prices, but it’s what we do. We like the local feel of Kalyan Nagar, and most of the people who call us are just folks from around the block who need a ride to the airport or a trip out of town. We just try to keep the cars running and the drivers happy so everything stays on track for the day.
