Our operations are based out of Pundikai House, which is located in Aryapu Village in the Puttur Taluk of Karnataka. It’s a rural area, quite a distance from the main city buzz. We’ve been here for quite some time, handling the local side of things for Joannou & Paraskevaides Overseas Ltd. The office is a simple house that we’ve converted for our needs. It’s surrounded by greenery and has a very local feel to it. Most of the people working here are from around the village or the nearby post area. We spend our time on logistics, coordinating projects, and keeping track of the local labor and materials. It’s not a fancy glass building; it’s just a solid, practical place to work. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls to our other branches. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit interesting, especially during the heavy rains we get in this part of Karnataka. We just keep going, though. We’re used to the pace of life here. Everyone in Aryapu knows where Pundikai House is. We don’t do a lot of advertising or anything like that. We just focus on the projects we have at hand and make sure the work is moving along as it should. It’s a quiet, steady kind of existence. We value the fact that we can work in such a peaceful setting while still staying connected to big international projects. It’s a mix of local life and global work that keeps us going every day.
