Icici Lombard Gic Ltd, Mangalore

This office is a bit of a unique one, located at 798 on 14th Cross in Bangalore. Even though the name mentions Mangalore, we are right here in the heart of the city, working out of a space connected to Satish Hulsogi and Gopalakrishna Rao. It’s more of a functional workspace than a big fancy headquarters. Most of our time is spent looking at screens and filing away insurance documents. Icici Lombard GIC Ltd is a big name, but in this specific office, it’s just a few of us sitting at our desks doing the daily tasks. We deal with a lot of phone calls from people asking about their policies or trying to figure out how to make a claim after something goes wrong. It’s steady work, and it keeps us busy from nine to six every day. The 14th Cross area is a typical Bangalore street, with trees shading the road and people constantly moving back and forth. We have our little routines, like the tea break in the afternoon and the Friday afternoon scramble to finish up the week's paperwork before heading home. We don't have any flashy slogans or big posters on the walls here. It’s just a place where business gets done, and we try to be as helpful as we can when someone walks in with a question. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator, but that’s just part of life.
