Hospital Adarsa

Hospital Adarsa is located right near the service bus stand in Udupi. This location is very handy because it means people who live in the smaller villages around here can get to us easily by taking the bus. Because of the bus stand, it is always very noisy and busy outside our building. You can hear the engines and the people shouting all day long. Inside the hospital, we try to maintain a bit more order, but it is still a very active place. We have various departments and several doctors who see patients for all kinds of ailments. The waiting area has simple benches and it is often full of people who have traveled a long way to see us. We have been a part of the Udupi community for many years and many families have been coming here for generations. The building is plain and designed to be practical for medical use. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every room is used for something important. The nurses are always on the move between the different wards. It is a local hospital that handles a lot of everyday health issues for the people of this town. We start our work early and there is usually a crowd waiting before we even open the doors. It is a busy, honest place that just tries to take care of the people who come to see us.
