We’re over in Visakhapatnam, specifically at Plot No. B-23 in the LIC Apartments. P. Sreelakshmi manages things here for Gvr Construction. It’s a quiet residential area, so it doesn't really feel like we’re at a big construction company. We mostly handle the administration and the local coordination from this spot. The apartment is a comfortable place to work, far away from the noise of the main city center. We’ve got our desks set up in one of the rooms. It’s not very formal. We might be in our slippers while we’re working on the accounts or making calls to the site managers. Vizag is a nice place to be, especially with the sea nearby, though we don't get much time to go to the beach. We’ve been based here for a while now. The neighbors are friendly and they don't mind us being here. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers; it’s mostly people we already know or subcontractors we’ve worked with for years. We keep things very simple and straightforward. No one here is interested in using big corporate jargon. We just talk like normal people and do our work. It’s a steady routine of phone calls, emails, and checking on the progress of our various builds. It works for us. We don't need any fancy marketing to keep the business going. We just do the work as it comes.
