Nv Photography

We are based out of Farangipete. It’s a quiet enough place but we travel around a lot for our work. Photography is what we do every day. It’s not just about clicking buttons, there’s a lot of waiting for the right light and making sure people feel okay in front of the camera. We don’t have a massive studio with white walls. We prefer being out where the action is. Whether it’s a small family thing or something bigger, we just bring our gear and get to it. We’ve lived in Farangipete for ages, so we know all the good spots for photos if someone asks. Most of the time it’s just me and a helper. We handle the editing ourselves too, sitting at the computer late into the night. It’s a lot of work that people don’t see. We don’t use filters that make everything look fake. We like things to look real, even if there’s a bit of blur or a shadow in the wrong place. That’s just life. People around here know us by name. We don’t do much advertising; word of mouth is usually how we get jobs. If you see someone with a heavy bag and a tripod walking around Farangipete, that’s probably us. We just keep things moving and take pictures of what we see. We don't have a fixed schedule, so it's best to call before stopping by the house.
