Kaushik Brothers

Our place is out in Bamnana Para, which is part of the Mangaldai area in Darrang district. Kaushik Brothers is very much a local operation. We aren't located in a big city with tall buildings. Instead, we are surrounded by more of a village atmosphere. Life moves a bit differently here compared to the big hubs. We spend a lot of our time dealing with things that are important to the people in this specific area. It is a simple setup, mostly just a space where we can store our things and talk to the people who come by. We know most of our neighbors and the folks who live around the police station in Mangaldai. It’s the kind of place where you stop to have a chat while you are working. The work can be tough and involves a lot of manual labor, but that is just how things are done here. We don't have a fancy website or a big team of marketing people. It’s just us doing the work that needs to be done every day. Sometimes the roads can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, but we manage to keep things going regardless. We have been here for a while and we plan to stay here, just doing what we do. It’s an honest way to make a living and we are okay with that.
