V L N Handloom

Our handloom business is tucked away at 3-6-758 in Kuppurao Colony. We are right on the Main Bazar Road, so there is always plenty of noise and life just outside our door. Inside the shop, things are a bit more focused as we spend our time weaving and preparing different types of cloth. We’ve been here for many years, following the traditional ways of making fabric that have been passed down to us. It’s not a fast process, and some days the looms can be a bit stubborn. Our shelves are filled with colorful rolls of material that we’ve worked on ourselves. We don't have any big advertisements or a fancy storefront. Most of our customers are people from the colony who have known us for a long time. It’s a small operation, usually just a couple of us working together to fill orders. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a particular piece, but the satisfaction of seeing it done is worth it. We aren't interested in becoming a huge factory; we like the personal touch that comes with hand-woven work. If you’re walking down Main Bazar Road, you can see us through the window, usually busy with the threads and the patterns. It’s a simple life, but it’s honest work that we truly care about doing well.
