Our facility is located on Plot No. 47 in Sector-3 of IMT Manesar. This whole area is basically just factories and large plants as far as you can see. It’s a bit different from the crowded city markets because everything here is laid out in big blocks. We have a fairly large setup because we need the room for the equipment. Every morning, the staff buses arrive and everyone gets to their stations. It’s a very routine kind of place. We have shifts running to make sure the work doesn't stop. The noise from the machines is pretty constant, so you have to speak up to be heard on the floor. We have a small area for the supervisors to keep track of the daily numbers. It’s not a place for lounging around. We have a canteen where people grab a quick bite before heading back to the line. Manesar gets very cold in the winter and incredibly hot in the summer, so we’re always adjusting to the weather. The floors are concrete and we try to keep them clean, but it's hard with all the boots moving back and forth. We aren't really set up for visitors, it’s mostly just us doing our jobs. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful watching of the assembly parts. It’s just a regular industrial job, day in and day out, making sure we hit the targets we set for the week.
