Our factory is located at Plot No. 154-D in the Phase-Ii area of Sector-7. It is right in the middle of the Imt Manesar industrial area. We make all kinds of springs here. The noise from the coiling machines is something you just get used to after a few days. We have piles of wire in different thicknesses stacked up against the walls. Some days it gets really hot inside the shed, especially when the sun is beating down on the metal roof. We just keep the big fans blowing and drink plenty of tea to stay going. Our workers have been doing this for a long time, so they know exactly how much tension to put on each spring. It is a repetitive job, but it requires a lot of attention to detail so nothing snaps. We do not have a fancy boardroom or anything like that. There is just a small office at the front where we handle the billing and the truck drivers. The yard is usually full of empty crates and metal scraps. We just try to keep the production line moving so we do not fall behind on our numbers. Every spring that leaves here has been checked by hand. It is just the way we have always done things in this shop. We do not see much point in changing it now.
