Our office is situated on the second floor of the Shri Mahalingeshwara Nilaya building. You can find us right by the Opplic Canal Road in Teachers Colony. Maddur is a nice place to be based and we have been here for some time now. It is not a huge setup, just enough room for a few desks and some chairs for people who come by to chat. Being near the canal means there is often a bit of a breeze if the windows are open. We spend most of our working hours looking over files and keeping the books straight. It is a steady, quiet job. People from around the colony drop in quite a bit. Sometimes they just want to ask a quick question about their savings or how the Nidhi rules work for them. We try to keep things as simple as possible. There is no big reception desk or fancy screens, just us working at our tables. We have settled into this building nicely. Most people in Maddur know exactly where Teachers Colony is, so it is easy to give directions. We open up the office in the morning, get the fans going, and start on the day's list of tasks. It is honest work. We do not use big words or try to confuse people. We just handle the money side of things for the members and keep going day by day. It gets a bit busy around the start of the month but stays calm otherwise.
