Shankar Traders

If you look for Shankar Traders you will find us at 4 in A Block of the Apmc Yard. We are out on Nanjangud Road which stays busy with all the heavy traffic going through Bandipalya. The yard is a big place and it can be easy to get lost if you don't know where A Block is. We spend our days handling bags and talking to drivers who come in from the main road. It's a lot of shouting over truck engines and moving heavy stuff around. The office is just a small corner with a desk and some old chairs. We don't have time for making things look pretty when there is so much work to do in the yard. Nanjangud Main Road is always loud and dusty especially in the afternoons. We see a lot of the same people every week here at Shankar Traders. Most of the guys know us by name and we know which trucks are theirs. We keep our spot in Bandipalya running as best as we can. It’s a messy job sometimes with all the loading and unloading that goes on. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just get the work done and go home at the end of the day. The yard is our second home really. It's just a regular trading business in a busy market and we just keep the crates moving until the sun goes down.
