Mugilu Nidhi Limited is situated over on 100 Feet Road in Vidya Nagar. Our office is actually at H D Mahesh’s place, he’s the son of C Dodda Boraiah. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of Mandya. If you are familiar with the 571401 area, you’ve probably passed by our building once or twice without thinking much of it. We keep things pretty straightforward here. There’s no big sign or anything flashy outside. Inside, it’s just a regular office space with some filing cabinets and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. We spend a lot of time looking at numbers and making sure the entries in the books are right. The street outside can get quite noisy with the bikes and cars going past all day. We usually have the fan going because it gets warm in the afternoons. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask about some paperwork they have. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Most of us have lived in Mandya for years, so we know a lot of the people who come through the door. It’s a quiet kind of business for the most part. We try to keep the desk clean but there’s always more papers coming in. That’s just the way it goes with a Nidhi company. We close the shutter around six and that is usually the end of it for us.
