Mandavya Horticulture Farmers Producercompany Limited

Our group, the Mandavya Horticulture Farmers Producercompany Limited, is based in Shivalli Village. We use the VSSBN Building in Dudda Hobli for our daily work. It’s a solid building that’s seen a lot of years. Mandya Taluk is a place where horticulture is a big deal, so we stay pretty busy. We aren't some big city firm. Most of us grew up around here and know the land well. When you walk into the VSSBN Building, it smells like old paper and sometimes a bit of the fertilizer from the stores nearby. We spend our time organizing the local farmers and trying to figure out the best way to handle the crops. It's a lot of talking and a fair bit of math on scrap paper. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If you come by, you just walk in and find someone at a desk. The village life in Shivalli is good, though the bus schedule can be a bit unreliable if you’re trying to get into Mandya town. We just focus on the work at hand. Whether it's mangoes or other fruits, we try to keep things moving. It’s a group effort. We all pitch in where we can when the harvest season gets heavy. It’s just how things work in this part of the country for people like us.
