Mitra Sarees

We are based in the Hosahalli Kamalamma Complex and have been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us folding fabrics and making sure everything looks right on the shelves. People come in from around the neighborhood looking for something specific for a wedding or just a nice gift. We have a lot of different colors and patterns because everyone’s taste is different. Some days are really busy especially when there’s a festival coming up and then other days it’s just quiet and we spend time organizing. The complex gets quite a bit of foot traffic so we see many familiar faces. We don’t really do fancy advertising or anything like that. It’s mostly just word of mouth from people who live nearby. Sometimes the lighting in the shop flickers a bit but we just get on with it. We try to keep things simple here. You’ll find Mitra Sarees easily enough once you get inside the building. We have stacks of sarees everywhere and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for but that’s just how it goes. We enjoy talking to the customers who stop by. Most of them have been coming to us for years and we know what they like. It’s a small operation but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just focus on getting the stock in and making sure the prices are fair for everyone.
